The Business of the Year Award recognises a business that has achieved outstanding results, business performance, management and demonstrates all-round excellence in business. To be eligible, businesses need to have won an award category to be considered for this feature award.

Businesses that receive the highest number of nominations go into the running for the Peoples Choice Award. Official polling for this award runs during the application period, with the winner announced at the Gala Event.
